Refunds Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for anything you buy from Pattern Type. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Your Pattern Type and reading

Your Pattern Type and your reading are free. There is nothing to pay and nothing to refund.

The Deep Report (£19)

The Deep Report is a one-off £19 purchase, delivered immediately after payment. Because it is a digital product delivered straight away, you confirm at checkout that you want immediate delivery, which means the statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply once delivery has begun.

We would still rather you were happy than hold your £19. If your report failed to generate, did not arrive, or there is a genuine problem with it, email team@programmetype.com from the address you used to buy and we will refund you in full. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and your access to that report ends when the refund is made.

Past Deep Map purchases (£29)

The Deep Map is no longer sold as a separate product. If you bought one before it was withdrawn, your purchase is honoured on the original terms: your report remains available to you and your access is unaffected.

Those purchases carried a 14-day loved-or-refunded guarantee. Where that period is still open, or where a report failed to generate, did not arrive, or there is a genuine problem with it, email team@programmetype.com from the address you used to buy and we will refund you.

Unprogrammed membership (£49 a month)

Membership is a rolling monthly subscription of £49 including any applicable VAT. It comes with a 14-day loved-or-refunded guarantee: if it is not for you, email team@programmetype.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full.

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future payments and your access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not part-refund an unused portion of a month outside the 14-day guarantee, though we will always look at genuine problems fairly.

Complimentary codes

Where a code gives you access at no charge, no payment is taken and there is nothing to refund.
